My name is Natasha and I was born and raised in Jamaica Queens, New York City. At the age of 14, I was pregnant without a stable place for me and my daughter to live. Without guidance I was faced with many challenges yet in my heart, I had a great desire to beat the odds. After staring into the eyes of such a pure and innocent soul my faith grew into a passion to win. As I began to grow into the woman that I am today I’ve decided to let the fire within me blare. I am more than certain that my life’s experiences are gifts from God. God has allowed me to live through the darkest of days to bless and support other teens along with their families to not only prevent teen pregnancy by bringing awareness but to also provide a community of care through the journey of life.
My name is Tonya JeNay. I’m a mother of 3, ages 23, 21, and 16, and a brand new “Bella” to my newest, most darling “GrandDoll”, Aylah. I’ve joined the YGYL mission as a mother, a mentor, a “SHE Coach” for young ladies aiming for success. A teenage mom at the young age of 19, I’m here to share my story, my journey, offer guidance and support to help end the trajectory of teenage pregnancy in our country, by helping our young ladies focus on the more important matters of this life, to uncover their hidden talents and walk into the promising, impactful lives our God has lined up for them through Him.
